Makunudu Island is situated in the North Male’ Atoll of the Maldives. Snorkelling will introduce you to the multitude of marine species that inhabit the coral reefs. Collect your snorkelling equipement free of charge from the water sports centre and enjoy the marvellous marine life, or join the dhoni boat for the weekly excursion to the excellent snorkelling sites not far from the resort.
Visit Other Islands & Fishing Villages: Visit the local islands and a fishing village and get to know a little about the life in the islands and the Maldivian culture.
Snorkeling Trip: Take a ride on a dhoni to different locations and enjoy the varying changes in the colourful reefs and its inhabitants.
Dolphin Watching: Ride out and meet up with these graceful mammals and you might be lucky if you come across a playful pod of dolphin.
Sunset Fishing: As the sun sets and the underwater life comes alive take a ride out to sea and have a good time fishing the Maldivian way.
Being such a small island Makunudu is limited in the land based sports it can offer. If you are after some additional exercise to watersports a game of volleyball is recommended. A selection of board games are also available.
